The main goal of the project is to expand children’s legal knowledge, promote legal awareness, and develop their ability to understand their rights and make informed decisions in real-life situations.
Today, children with disabilities study in more than 90 specialized schools and boarding schools across the country. The development of inclusive education, equal opportunities, and conditions for realizing their personal potential are among the priorities of state policy.
Initiated by the Ombudsman’s Office, the “Young Legal Scholar” quiz, launched for the first time last year, is being held for the second time. The joy, motivation, and increased self-confidence of last year’s finalists provided a strong basis for turning this initiative into a tradition.
The quiz is designed for children with musculoskeletal impairments and is conducted among students of grades 9–11.
Stage I, in test format, will take place at the following institutions:
- Specialized Boarding School No. 34, Angren;
- Boarding School No. 9, Kokand;
- Boarding School No. 100, Olmazar District, Tashkent.
Based on the results, 9 students with the highest scores will qualify for Stage II — the final.
Stage II will be held in Tashkent.
