Prior to the event, appeals received from this region were analyzed, key issues relevant to the population were identified, and representatives of relevant government bodies and organizations were invited to participate in the open dialogue.
It should be noted that the appeals from the Republic of Karakalpakstan mainly concern issues related to social assistance, education, employment, loans, cadastre, improvement of mahallas, and development of entrepreneurship.
The next open dialogue within the platform was held on April 24, 2026, in Amudarya district, one of the remote areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Given that employment issues were most frequently raised in appeals from this district, a job fair was also organized within the framework of the “Ombudsman School” platform. A total of 37 organizations presented 157 vacancies, and 15 citizens were provided with job placement referrals.
During the event, participants were provided with legal explanations on issues related to ensuring human rights in the context of socio-economic reforms, ongoing support measures in mahallas, available opportunities, labor relations, and vocational training systems.
According to the analysis, out of 26,372 appeals received by the Ombudsman in 2025, 681 were from the Republic of Karakalpakstan. From Amudarya district, 54 appeals were received. This demonstrates the importance of holding direct open dialogues with the population, increasing legal awareness, and providing targeted explanations on the issues raised.
The issues raised in the presentations were explained to participants using simple and practical examples.
