According to the analysis, since a relatively high number of appeals to the Ombudsman were received from the “Dustlik” and “Qattagar” mahallas of Nukus, the Ombudsman’s Regional Representative in the Republic of Karakalpakstan held mobile receptions in these mahallas.

To resolve the issues raised directly on site, deputies of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, representatives of the National Agency for Social Protection, the local khokimiyat, prevention inspectors and representatives of other responsible organisations were also involved in the mobile receptions.

The appeals mainly concerned housing, social assistance, inheritance, cadastral issues and employment.

During the mobile receptions, appeals from around 17 citizens were heard. Four appeals were resolved on the spot, legal explanations were provided on eight appeals, and five appeals were accepted for further examination.
