The document is intended to enhance the effectiveness of the activities of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), as well as to strengthen the responsibility of state bodies and officials.

The draft law introduces amendments to Article 197⁴ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

According to the amendments, administrative liability is established for officials who leave Ombudsman requirements without consideration, violate the deadlines for their review without valid reasons, or intentionally provide knowingly unreliable information regarding the Ombudsman’s requirements.
