Аn open dialogue with citizens organized based on appeals in Khorezm

To establish an effective dialogue between citizens and government authorities and to enhance citizens' legal awareness, the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) holds events as part of the "Ombudsman School" initiative. These events serve as a platform for interaction, providing opportunities for citizens to voice their concerns and submit appeals. Importantly, citizens are given the opportunity to engage directly and in real-time with representatives of relevant government bodies on matters of interest.

On November 1, 2024, an "Ombudsman School" event was held for residents of Yangiariq district in Khorezm region, attended by over 100 citizens from the "Urganch," "Sardorlar," "Chakir," "Vakillar," "Kora Goz," "Dustlik," "Gulbog," "Yangiobod," "Kushlok," "Boyot," "Khujalar," "Tuzlok," and "Sherobod" mahallas.

During the event, conducted as an open dialogue, special attention was given to the issues raised in appeals to the Ombudsman from this region. Responsible officials provided answers to all questions posed by the public.

Following the event, the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Khorezm held an on-site reception to receive additional citizen appeals.
